Introduction

Propaganda is an important part of our nation's history. By using certain symbols or words a good propagandist could make a person feel angry, sympathetic, apathetic, or any number of emotions that they wanted the viewer to feel.  Some of the best propaganda is created during wartime.  For example, during World War II, propaganda was found every where you looked.  Whether it be about growing "Freedom Gardens" or buying war bonds, it was very influential during this time. Propaganda wasn't only found during World War II.  It can also be found today, whether it be on television, radio, or the internet.  What does propaganda from our history look like, and how was it used?  How is propaganda used today and what does it look like today?
